Since launching in 2019, fundingbee was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: To remove the financial barriers and struggles that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) face.

We believe that passionate young Malaysian entrepreneurs with grit, ideas and ambition shouldn’t be held back by the limited access to capital or complicated funding processes. 

Our mission has always been to provide responsible, fast and transparent lending solutions that give SMEs the runway to grow and scale. 

What started as a bold and ambitious idea, has grown into a growing team and community of trusted investors, clients and partners.

From First Loans to Nearly RM8 Million in Capital Deployed

Over the last six years, thanks to the growing trust and confidence from our investors as well as the dedication of our team, we have grown from humble beginnings, to becoming a key financial and business partner for Malaysian SMEs.

To date, fundingbee has deployed over RM7.8 million in capital to businesses across Malaysia. This success is built on disciplined risk management, a scalable lending model and strong investor confidence.

Empowering Over 250 SME Businesses Across Malaysia

From the beginning, we’ve focused on helping high-potential SMEs move from idea to reality. 

To date, we have supported over 250 clients across multiple regions and sectors in Malaysia, including retail, F&B, manufacturing, logistics and more, with loans of different sizes and amounts from as little RM5,000 to over RM50,000.

The support given to these SMEs have enabled them to expand operations, hire new staff, invest in equipment, open additional locations and more, fueling sustainable growth within Malaysia’s SME ecosystem.

Building Trust Through Malaysian Regulatory Excellence

Operating financial services in Malaysia requires a strong foundation of trust, transparency and compliance. In 2025, we were granted a Digital Lending License from Malaysia’s Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), a milestone which highlights our commitment to responsible lending and adherence to our local regulatory standards.

This approval has allowed us to not only strengthen our ability to serve local businesses and SMEs, but also maintain the highest standards of transparency, regulation and customer protection.

Our impact today is just the beginning. We’re building a future where every small Malaysian business has the financial runway to succeed, and we’re committed to driving that change for the next decade and beyond.
